Keeping up with the times

Well, I am sure we are one of the last households to do this but we finally have internet at our house.  Before I had it on my phone and at school, so I had access, but not at home.  We made the call Saturday and they came on Sunday to hook it up!  Yes, on a Sunday.  Brent had a nice conversation with the guy and he said he works Sunday-Thursday so he is off on Friday and Saturday.  So I am happy to announce I am typing this post from home :)
I survived my first week of babysitting, although my two girls are not baby's so I guess I should say, I survived my first week of being a Nanny!  I like that a lot better!  The girls are great and I could not ask for a better family to work for.  I feel so comfortable at their house and they really make me feel at home.  Anna is so easy to entertain and she is used to me since I was her kindergarten teacher this past school year.  Grace is 11 and she is such a great kid and very well behaved, but sometimes I feel she is bored with me :(  If anyone has any suggestions on activities I could do to please them both that would be great.  Not that they are unhappy or anything, but I want them both to have a great and fun filled summer!  We can only swim so much!
Friday, after I finished watching the girls, my mom and I headed to the Cards game.  I said, are we seriously going to really sit out in this heat?!?!  But, two words, Cards Cubs!  And may I add, SWEEP!  We saw an AWESOME game Friday and the Cardinals swept the Cubs this series!  Oh happy day!  I tried to snap this picture of Fredbird ( He came to our school this year and wow, under that costume, he is a cutie!!)

In the Cardinal store I also saw this onsie.  I already bought Henry (Stella's future lil brother) one Cardinals onsie, but I can't buy this one until I know if he is going to be a binkey kid or not?!?!  Not all kids are, so we will see.

Saturday I had planned on going and laying out in my moms pool and that evening Brent and I were going to go to a parade and picnic in Rocher, well we ended up at 11:30 am going and visiting my aunt, she recently had surgery, and we stayed until 9:00 pm!  It was so fun and relaxing, and I didn't mind staying in the AC!
Sunday I had a baby shower to go to then, we have waiting a year...my two cousins, Kenzie and Kennedy were flying in to stay with their dad for the summer!  We were all so excited to see them.  They have changed so much in a year.  It was fun hanging out with the family all afternoon,  It is going to be a great summer!
