The first few days in pictures...

  I think I have done a pretty good job at taking pictures this trip!  Once we get home I will work on getting them all uploaded to facebook, but we still have four full days to go! =) 

  Our first full day we spent at the beach and then went out to dinner...sort of a low key kind of day. 

 I did however get aggravated that our first full day here my husband and father decide to stay in the room the entire day and after dinner they turn on Swamp People...oh so much fun! 

  Yesterday, we decided to go grab some breakfast and then take a boat to Shell Island!  AWESOME!  I want to go back.

The boat ride over was so neat and then once we got there I got on my little tube and just floated.  The water was not deep at all, maybe up to my waist, so it was so relaxing just to float.  Dad and Brent were in shell finding mode...hence the name Shell Island!  While we were there, there was even a Ice Cream Boat..just like an ice cream truck, but a boat.  I was amazed and visited the man twice while we were there. :)

   We came back to out room and got ready for dinner.  We went to Margaritaville.  It was so good, the 1 hr 15 min wait wasn't so good, but the atmosphere and food was great!
 After we ate we went to a few of the shops at Pier Park and then we headed to Race City..I wonder who's idea this was?!?  And of course, they had drag racing. 
 I was only going to watch, but then the competitive side came out and I decided to drag race against Brent.

I am in the red car and he is in the yellow-ish car.  Of course I came off of the light better than him, but I had no idea where the finish line was so I hit my brake a little too early.  O well, it was good on his ego to win!
