Today was a busy day! I had to go to work today, not just being a nanny, but I was back at Sparta Primary interviewing candidates for a Special Education position open at our school. It was nice to be with some of my fellow co-workers, but I was super tired by the time we were done interviewing 6 people today.
I then went to Wal-Mart to get our groceries for the week to come, we have such a busy weekend coming up I figured I would go ahead and get it over with. This Sunday is Father's Day and for the Kohrs/Coop/McConachie families it is a pretty big deal! It is the annual 3-Man Scramble Golf tournament that the guys play in on Saturday and Sunday. Then on Sunday we have a huge BBQ with family and spend the entire day together! We look forward to this every year. So back to where I was headed with this whole paragraph...so I went to Wal-Mart and I picked up some ingredients to make a new recipe for Sunday. I am making Chinese Cole Slaw. At a graduation party I went to this past Sunday we had it and it was AMAZING! So look for a post Sunday or Monday to see how it turned out =)
I rushed home from Wal-Mart and it was time to head to the other Jones household (My brother-in-law and sister-in-law's) for our niece, Sofia's 4th birthday! I can not believe she is 4 already. We talked about the day she was born, I can even remember what I was wearing that night/day. We got the call about 12:30 a.m. on June 15th and she finally arrived the afternoon of June 16th! Absolutely amazing!
We started off the evening with presents...who wouldn't want to start with presents?! It was only us and her two sets of grandparents. Sofia's birthday party is tomorrow, so we get to party again tomorrow =)
Look at those amazing presents!! She got barbies, barbie clothes, a DVD, Bitty Baby bed, Bitty Baby stroller and Bitty Baby clothes. Bitty Baby = a baby American Girl Doll
After presents, we moved on to cake and ice cream! YUM! And if you know my husband, he LOVES ice cream and I do not buy it! Cassie buys it for him! We had rainbow chip cake and chocolate AND vanilla ice cream with sprinkles.
Look how proud she looks! What an amazing 4 year old! We just love her so much!
We ended the night playing outside. At one point we were all standing in the drive way doing Tootie Ta, by Dr. Jean! Please, if you have never seen or hear of this, google it or you tube it! You will get a good laugh! What you do for a cute little 4 year old! =)
Happy Birthday, Sofia! We love you so much and hope you had a fantastic day! We are so happy we were able to celebrate with you tonight and can not wait for your party tomorrow night!

Happy Birthday Sofia! Have fun at your hula party!!
