Hello! My name is Slacker!

Wow!  How long has it been since I posted? Julia and I were talking last night about how we have not been very good bloggers last night. Well, I am back...hopefully.  Life has been so busy lately and I definitely need to learn to stop, slow down, life is way too short!
The new school year is fast approaching and along with other things, I have been scrambling working to get my room put together, kindergarten screening ready, lesson plans, etc.  All of the things that go along with a new school year.  I am usually so excited for a new school year to start, but this year is just different.  Our kindergarten team was the.best.hands.down! We have gone from our solid four, to just the original two.  This year will bring two new teachers in, one that has been teaching, but new to our building, and one that has not even been hired yet....yes you heard me right, school is TWO WEEKS away and they start kindergarten interviews tomorrow.....Please say a little prayer that this school year goes smoothly!
So much has went on in the past few weeks that I can not even remember it all!  I have still been babysitting for Grace and Anna.  It has been so hot lately it has been really hard to get outside, so we make do....

Over the weekend, Brent and I went to Jason and Becky Kempfer's wedding.  We I had a blast.  I am sure Brent did too, but he and Chad kinda just sat and talked, they were not the dancing type.  Me, Kelsie and Abbey on the other hand, the only time I remember sitting down is when I told Abbey, "My calves hurt, I have to go sit down!"  Kelsie cracked us up the entire night and her phrase of the night was, "Don't hare, impersonate!"
Brent and I took our picture at the reception while we were waiting on the wedding party to arrive.
Sunday, I guess I needed some much needed sleep and I woke up at 10:30 a.m.....wow, I can't remember the last time I slept that long.  When I woke up I had a text from Cassie asking if I was free to babysit, of course I couldn't pass that up!  Stella and I had a ball, for about an hour, then she zonked out for two hours and I was pretty lonely.
That night we enjoyed some Mary's for dinner and then Kelsie and I watched Big Brother!
Tonight I will be trying a new recipe from Sarah at Everyday Easy...Sorta Stromboli!  I can't wait!  And I promise I will be a better blogger again :)
