Farm Fresh

What a beautiful day!  Today was the annual FFA petting zoo at Sparta High School.  The coordinator/teacher always invites Sparta Primary to attend and we appreciate it so much!  We could not have asked for a better day to go.  Mrs. B and I kept it a secret from our kids all day.  We told them that we were going on a surprise visit when we got back from lunch.  The kids were so excited we were going somewhere, sadly they would have been happy just taking a walk around the track, so you should have seen their excitment when we went to a "petting zoo."  Here are a few pictures of the fun they had!

The goats were so cute, but not big fans of us!  Who would like 40 hyper kindergarten kids all reaching to pet you at one time.

I just love this picture.  The kids were all telling me that this is a rooster and it wakes people up in the morning.  So funny to hear their ideas on everything! Love it!
The rabbits were a very popular animal.  They sat very still and really enjoyed the kids coming up and petting them.
 More goats!

There was even a donkey there!
I love how all of the high school FFA members put this on.  It was a nice break from the school day, yet a great learning experience!
